This article addresses some reflections on Michel Foucault and Paul Ricoeur's ideas, who, each in their own way, seek to hermeneutical aspects in relation to psychoanalysis as a form of interpretation. The work is structured in three parts: the first explores Foucault’s reflections on psychological apparatuses and the hermeneutics of the subject; the second discusses the views of Jean Allouch and Jean-Luc Nancy on psychoanalysis as a spiritual exercise; and the final section examines Paul Ricoeur’s position on psychoanalysis as hermeneutics.
