Author Guidelines

At MORPHEÚS, every detail of submission matters. That’s why we have gathered in one place the editorial, ethical, and formal standards that every manuscript must follow. You can review them here: Author Guidelines.

Submission Preparation Checklist

When submitting to MORPHEÚS, authors must confirm that their manuscript complies with the following requirements:

  1. The main file is in .doc or .docx format (PDFs are not accepted).
  2. The text follows the formatting rules outlined in the Author Guidelines (font, spacing, length, complete metadata).
  3. All references are cited according to the 7th edition of APA.
  4. A Cover Page is attached, including affiliation, ORCID, author bio, and required declarations.
  5. The mandatory annexes are included: Declaration of Originality and Ethical Commitment, Conflict of Interest Statement, and when applicable, Research Ethics Statement and/or AI Use Declaration.
  6. The manuscript does not contain personal data or metadata that could reveal the author’s identity (double-blind review is ensured).
  7. For works derived from courses at the UMQ Faculty of Psychology, the grading rubric and faculty feedback are attached.

Submission can only be completed if all the above items are confirmed.

Amapolas (Poppies)

Section of specialized texts that address specific topics proposed in each issue by the Editorial Committee, ensuring the relevance and timeliness of the content. It includes essays and research articles that provide in-depth perspectives on specific issues in the field of psychology.

Alas (Wings)

Section that hosts research articles, essays, and reviews on various topics within the psychological discipline, without thematic restrictions. This space allows authors to propose their ideas, share their voice, and present emerging and novel topics, providing a broad view of the current psychological landscape.

Ébano (Ebony)

Section containing narratives, poetry, and other literary texts that explore the human experience and its psychological component from a literary perspective.
