The reception and preselection of the article will be carried out by the Editor or a member of the Editorial Committee, who will verify that the text meets the authors' guidelines. If the article satisfies these requirements, the Editor will notify the author of its receipt within ten business days.
Next, the article will undergo evaluation through a double-blind peer review system, ensuring the anonymity of authors and reviewers. Each text will be assigned to two reviewers who are experts in their respective fields. In case of disagreement in the review resolution, a third expert will be consulted to issue a definitive ruling. This stage may take one to two months and is subject to the availability of reviewers.
Once the evaluation is complete, the author will be notified of the decision within ten business days. If modifications are required, the author will have a maximum of ten business days to submit the new version for minor changes or fifteen business days for major modifications.
If reevaluation is needed, the article will be reviewed again by the initial reviewers within an estimated fifteen business days after the modified version is submitted. After final approval, the author must sign a declaration of originality and rights transfer for the dissemination of the article within ten business days following the reevaluation.
Subsequently, a review of writing and style will be conducted, which will take a maximum of one month, subject to the availability of reviewers.
