CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Open Call for Submissions

Submission period: March 31, 2025 – January 31, 2026

The digital journal MORPHEÚS, published by the Faculty of Psychology of Universidad Marista de Querétaro, opens its call for submissions for the third issue, entitled The End Also Breathes.

In a time marked by global instability, human displacement, social precarity, and environmental exhaustion, death has once again become central to contemporary experience. It also resonates in the solitude of aging societies, in the lingering trace of the pandemic, in discourses that distort shared reality, and in technologies that expand the limits of what we call human. More than an ending, it stands as an open question: what remains, what changes, what disappears.

Invites contributions that reflect on death in its biological, psychic, social, philosophical, clinical, and cultural dimensions through articles, essays, clinical reflections, or interdisciplinary proposals that contemplate finitude without silencing it.

• Alas: academic contributions that expand the dialogue between psychology, psychoanalysis, and related disciplines.
• Ébano: literary texts —narrative, lyric, or dramatic— that explore human experience and its psychological dimension.
